Completing the Transfer process

After being accepted by 91°µÍø, students are required to bring their current Designated School Official (DSO), the following information in order to complete the transfer out process:

  1. Acceptance letter from 91°µÍø
  2. Transfer Recommendation Form from 91°µÍø

After receiving documentation of the student’s request to transfer to Suffolk County Community College, the student’s current school will determine a SEVIS transfer release date and transfer out the student’s record. Once the student’s SEVIS record is released, 91°µÍø can issue a new SEVIS Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant F-1 Status).

Once you receive a SEVIS Form I-20 from 91°µÍø, return the new SEVIS Form I-20 to the Counselor /DSO at 91°µÍø within 15 days after beginning attendance.

Note to transfer-in students: Official transcripts from all previously attended U.S. institutions must be sent to 91°µÍø.
